The Fire Safety in the Home booklet is used by fire crews and CFS staff when competing home fire safety checks within their respective communities. DCLG can no longer print and supply these books direct to Fire Authorities and so Brigade Support has stepped in to provide this service. We have supplied over 1 million copies of the Fire Safety in the Home booklet over the last year to many Brigades across the country.

Individual brigades are now responsible for printing their own copies of DCLG booklets; this is why Brigade Support set up a 'multi brigade order' supplying a variety of fire authorities from all over the UK at the same time allowing us to do one print run in turn reducing the cost for each brigade substantially.
